Sam I am;
I quite enjoy green eggs and ham.
I'm 20 years young and I'm working on seeing the world through a new perspective. This is a place for things such as art, music, lyrics, movies, books, languages, pictures, quotes, thoughts... basically whatever inspires me to live.

Naum Gabo, Model for Constructive Torso, 1917-18
From the Berlinische Galerie:
Gabo’s conception of art was the tendency not to agree to socialist realism. He moved to Berlin in 1922, where he participated in the First Russian Art Exhibition. In 1935, he fled the Nazi regime to London, and later emigrated to the USA, where he died in the 1977
A good example of Gabo’s new sculptural concept is the Constructivist torso of 1917. Gabo’s figure has not evolved from a core mass, but is composed of individual geometric area segments. Plasticity is instead designed with the two-dimensional means of line and surface. The resulting void between the plastic surface segments makes the space an integral part of the sculpture.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says 11 of Lance Armstrong’s former teammates testified against him in its investigation of the cyclist, revealing “the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen.”
USADA will deliver its reasoned decision against Armstrong later Wednesday, a summary of the facts it used to hand him a lifetime suspension and erase his seven Tour de France titles.
In a news release previewing the decision, USADA CEO Travis Tygart said it would include more than 1,000 pages of evidence. He listed 11 of Armstrong’s former teammates, including George Hincapie, Floyd Landis and Tyler Hamilton, as among those providing evidence that led to the sanction.

This is quite the dramatic picture. I sometimes eat energy gels during (long) bike rides. I call it my amateur doping. Which it is not, but oh well.
This is ridiculous.
None of us are lucky. Some of us are just better prepared.Some of us are scared and afraid; made to think we’re born to lose and used to being shy and ashamed. but we still push forward. some of us are more fortunate; born into more fortune, formed into goal oriented motion and shown rather than thrown into searching. fuck luck is more than a rhymed couplet; a golden nugget of fine wording. it’s for those who work for the moment that preparation meets opportunity and the universe and its energy comes at its time, surging into circumstances we call “luck”. its a stamp for the excited, motivated, exausted and amped who push and push and push through pain until they birth something that brings their life some gain. FUCK LUCK. you’re here because you deserve it. that’s the truth no matter how you word it……
